Recruitment company GO2 People is set to expand its presence in Western Australia by acquiring industry counterpart Hunter Executive in a deal worth $900,000.
The two Perth-based recruitment firms are set to combine their resources to facilitate executive search for clients, providing a more comprehensive service offering. GO2 Managing Director Billy Ferreira has described the Hunter buy as “highly complimentary” and is expected to bring in roughly $3.3 million in revenue per annum.
Hunter is an Australian recruitment company specialising in permanent and contract placements for engineering, resources, environment and water industries. Founded in 2013 by Directors Ben Oakley and Gregor McNally (“Vendors”), it is a well-regarded business that maintains successful, long term relationships with many of Australia’s leading companies.
GO2 expects Hunter to contribute revenues of $3.3 million p.a. with strong profit margins which will improve GO2 margins. To maximise this moving forward, GO2 will provide appropriate resources and back-office support to Hunter in order to assist with the scaling up of its business.
Pending shareholder approval, the date of the completion of the acquisition is 15 February 2021.
